[Everything doTERRA] Re: Help! Can oils dissolve dissolvable stitches?

I had surgery. The plastic surgeon said do NOT put essential oils on the scar w/ "surgical super glue" for at least 10 days. But then he said still wait. So it's the 10th day, and I'm excited to get going so I put Lavender, Frankincence, etc. on it. Then put the big gauze pad on. Checked it about 8 hrs later. The gauze pad is stuck to the line of stitches!! Ugh!! What to do??? I've put water on it to see if it will loosen.... any ideas??  THX
