Re: [Everything doTERRA] Success story about receeding gums

By researching I found that bacteria gets in between the gums and the teeth, hence the reason for choosing On Guard. The rubber tipped thingie is called a gum stimulator (see a picture on drugstore.com or elsewhere). My son's gums were worse than mine, and he was able to hold his own the first year, but was not diligent with flossing or using the oil after that, so now his have gotten a little worse. It's also important not to brush too hard; be gentle; our teeth are living.

Our Families Teeth Testimonal Added To Yours

My husband & I both had some receding gums and our gums came back down.  All we have done is brush our teeth 2x a day.  We both as well as 2 of the teens have used Lemon to whiten our teeth. Our family some how missed visiting the dentist for a few years. Also not sure what happened to the floss, but we have not had any in the house since we moved to WA a year 1/2 ago.  Ops honestly did not realize it tell I made all the dentist appointments.

Our new dentist in Gig Hatbor, WA has never seen a family with such good teeth, or cleaned anyone's teeth with so little tarter as each of us.   They had to look at our x-rays to find anything to scrap and its the least our teeth have ever been scraped as well as tight healthy gums all around.

Our dentist attributed our teeth to eating healthy & diligent care of our teeth. I am no teeth cleaning freek, I remind the 6 yr old to brush her teeth morning & night and don't often check that she has, the teens I expect to remember, and I know my children probably miss brushings.  We eat healthier then the average family and are continuing to work on our eating habits, we have a love for quality dark chocolate and let the children eat candy, but don't generally buy junk- though the children recive junk candy & foods weekly outside my home at church.  We do take LLV, but no one gets all doses every day.

We have been using the Onguard toothpast since it was released. Honestly I attribute the health of our teeth to the OnGuard toothpast and I think the lemon may have helped those who have used it too though Im sure a healthier diet & LLV contribute to healthy teeth and mouths.

Why OnGuard - I would imagin because when the toothpast came out it said it stoped gingivitis which is why our gums receded in the first place.  I'd imagin that is why she used extra to kill the bacteria that was attacking her gums.
