I actually continued for a month once the pain was gone and even know I use Wintergreen on both knees every morning. And when I give a protocol I try to give it in the order for layering.

It takes a scientific approach to make your own blends, due to the chemical change when placing them in the wrong order or type of oil. I have attached some notes on blending your own blends that could prove helpful.

Layering is the best choice when you are not sure.
