I've used rollers on my dogs, including when my son's pup was spayed a few months ago. It's easier than drops for an ongoing challenge. Here are the recipes:
1) "Antibiotic" roller: 15 drops each of frankincense, on guard and oregano, plus FCO to fill a 5 mL roller.
2) "Pain" roller: 15 drops each of deep blue, aroma touch, and frankincense, plus FCO to fill a 5 mL roller.
3) "Calming" roller: 15 drops each of serenity, lavender, and lemon, plus FCO to fill a 5 mL roller.
It sounds like the blisters are possibly infections of some kind. Googling, someone commented it could be a reaction to the suture material, but as such is an infection. For an active problem like this, carefully roll each of the pads of each paw, then roll around the blisters, and around the incision as well. Roll all the areas first with roller 1, then do all the areas again but with roller 2, then repeat with roller 3. Do that every 2 hours during the day and if the pup wakes during the night, use the rollers again. This is what we did instead of meds for his pup after being spayed, and she healed wonderfully with no problem, no pain, and no agitation.
The oils work quickly on dogs, as they do on us. But if this is a staph infection of some kind, then frequency is really important given the speed the oils are metabolized. Also, keep using the e-collar so the dog can't lick the blisters.
