[Everything doTERRA] lyme disease, Rx treatment and EO

Are essential oils are considered an herb when it comes to impacting the effectiveness of a Rx antibiotic?

I am dealing with a case of stage 2 lyme disease in my 9 year old girl. The Rx prescription was for 100mg doxycycline hyclate is 2x/day which has been changed to 52mg 2x/day for four weeks. Not sure why so any info on that would be helpful. I am struggling trying to figure out do I give her the whole 100mg or 52mg or somewhere in between and is this OK?  OMG!!!

The drug could be less effective if herbs are used. I have been applying oils from the lyme disease protocol on the bottoms of her feet daily - oregano, cassia, onguard, frankincense, etc. She also gets Aromatouch Technique.

I am not sure if this is one of those instances when I need to choose one protocol or the other. I have been giving her probiotics too and making sure she is getting her multivitamins too.

Prayers and any positive supportive comments are requested. Thank you!
