Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Arachnoiditis

I would suggest she also find someone who does neural therapy (Procaine injections). It is completely safe and it may unblock or even reverse her scar growth.  This is very, very effective and not normally too pricey.  As far as the oils go my suggestion would be DDR Prime and Immortelle. Let's hope we get that free Immortelle promo again this July!  Please keep us posted if any of the suggestions help.  I would also take a look at the MS protocol.  And use essential fatty acids and enzymes in abundance!

A good friend of mine was just diagnosed with arachnoiditis.  It is in the early stages, but she is in debilitating pain.  Do you think the aromatouch technique would benefit her? If so, how often?  Is there such a thing as too much?  She has used frankincense, but says that it made her pain more intense.  Is it possible that the frank could be healing it and to be patient, or should she avoid it?  It's such a rare condition that not much is known, but basically within the spinal cord nerve endings are developing scar tissue and fusing together which causes the pain and numbness in limbs.  There is currently no cure with allopathic medicine, so she is seeking the alternative medicine route as much as possible.  Any help (and prayers for Melissa) would be appreciated!

My friend has Arachnoiditis. I don't  see any mention of this
condition in this forum or on everythingessential. Anyone know about
treating it with essential oils? I can't help but think that doterra's
frankincense would help. What do you think?

Arachnoiditis
This disorder is caused by inflammation of the arachnoid. The
arachnoid is the middle of three membranes that surround the brain and
spinal cord. The arachnoid carries cerebrospinal fluid and its purpose
is to protect and cushion the nervous tissue.

"The relentless and progressive pain syndrome of Arachnoiditis is
taxing to the patient's morale. In many instances doctors, relatives,
and friends fail to realize that the pain can be as bad as terminal
cancer, without the prospect of death to end the suffering. Well-
meaning inquiries as to whether there is any improvement, with the
implication that there must inevitably be improvement, since it is not
cancer, are distressing to the patient."
