My favorite ear infection protocol: Lavender & Melicuca around the ear. Pull towards the jaw and down the esstatian tube. If that does not stop the pain take a piece of a cotton ball and put a drop of Basil on it and put it in the outer ear with the drop diffusing towards the ear drum. We have not had ear infections since our begenning days with doTERRA in 2010 since using this in our family. The Lav & Mel are generally enough to nip anything but the children just don't seem to get them anymore & neither do I.
The Basil idea I got from this list serve. You can learn a lot from doing searches on topics you need help with and reading past posts.
