Well it seems that this would have come up if the Lemon oil did erode the enamel since so many of us have been using it in our water for years. Also I think it was just in another post I saw where someone actually tested the PH and it came back the same for water with lemon oil in it as well as water without. This is like others have said it is just the pure oil from the lemons not the acid that would erode the enamel. Also there are so many dentist using the oils they would have seen that by now. Actually if I am thinking right there is a dentist on the scientific board for Doterra you could always contact him.

Though I cannot answer her directly since I don't quite see a question to answer, my dentist told me very matter-a-fact, that Lemon oil doesn't have a negative impact on enamel, dental work, calcification, etc. He strongly advised the use of lemon oil vs lemon wedges & is using doTERRA in his office for cleaning, sterilizing, analgesics, calming, etc.
