The quick answer is that lemon only dissolves petro chemicals. Not tissue, or flesh. You can actually see the results of lemon rind on a styrophome cup.  Of course cptg oils are much more consentrated and visually effective (it will dissolve styrophome instantly). Phosphoric acid is said to be corrosive (coke). Our stomic acid (gastric) is VERY corrosive.  It would dissolve a broom stick, but our esophageal and stomach linings can endure the PH factor of gastric jucies.

Our body can handle lemon oil just fine, but if you want to cleans your body of petro-chemicals or gal stones, or kidney stones... Lemon is your best friend.
