[Everything doTERRA] Re: UTI

I had a lot of UTIs while I was younger, and have gotten them several times each pregnancy.  I would take antibiotics, but then they would come back.  This last pregnancy I found D-Mannose (Now brand, at Whole Foods or Amazon), which cleared it up quickly without having to take antibiotics.  info from the bottle:  "d-mannose is a simple sugar that occurs naturally in some plants, including cranberries  although small amounts of d-mannose are metabolized by the human body, much of it is rapidly excreted in the urine.  in the bladder, d-mannose can adhere to undesirable foreign substances, preventing them from sticking to the lining of the bladder.  because insubstantial amounts of d-mannose are used by the body, it does not interfere with blood sugar regulation".  cranberry pills or juice never helped, but this did.
