Simeon's book Pounds and Inches is the original book that I went by which you can probably download free online (just search for it). I learned more details from The Weight Loss Cure by Kevin Trudeau who updated it to suit our more toxic world. The detox phase before starting is crucial but it is not part of the original plan and you don't need to do all of it. We have lots of doTerra tools for that. I suggest getting as healthy and detoxed as possible before starting. I also joined a Yahoo group that was very supportive and helpful with many thousands of members (Search for HCG Groups on Yahoo to find it). Most people can do this themselves but support certainly doesn't hurt and questions may come up. A certain amount of self discipline helps and time it so that there are no big temptations during the crucial phases. The main thing is don't try to adapt it. Do it exactly according to the original plan and you will feel good. No hunger. It's a great time to get a lot of stuff done since you're not focused on food.
