You're not suppose to internally take Breathe might be why.

Peppermint, definitely. Put a dot on the roof of your mouth if you find it a bit hot otherwise, or put a ocuple of drops in your water and sip all day. Breathe--I don't recommend. I did it once by mistake and YUCK! I don't know if it's dangerous, but it's certainly nasty tasting!

Does anyone know if breathe and peppermint can be taken orally? I came down with some sinus issues and started taking thieves orally last night. Yesterday I was putting breathe and peppermint on my chest which helped some. I was talking to a friend last night and they suggested taking thieves oil, which I did. I could only do 1 drop under my tongue, should I do more? I'm hoping the sinus issues might be stemming from harvest crop dust and maybe smoke. Thanks in advance.
