Peppermint is safe and recommended in pregnacy for nausa and tummy upset by midwives who use doTERRA. Some nursing moms can't use it as it can effect the level of milk produced. This of course is not an issue during pregnancy.
Stephanie Fritz author of my favorite essential oil prego book has said Dr Hill told her before she wrote her book that doTERRA does not sell oils that are generally unsafe during pregnancy. The only oil she warns about is that if someone has had preterm labor then they may want to avoid Clary Sage as it can incurage labor when the body is ready, or thinks it is.
I highly recommend her book. Stephanie Fritz is one of my most favorite midwives and in the absence of not living near either of my favorites I rely heavily on her book. It's sold on Amazon, Aromatools, +.
