[Everything doTERRA] Re: Sinus infection?

Actually these abbreviations come from medical Latin abreviations. T.I.D. means three times a day or "ter in die" As a registerd nurse, (and any medical student) we learned these in school. Most hospitals are going back to the long hand dosing time and not using the abbreviations. They can be confusing. There is a difference in the amount of therapy consumed based on the timing / dose. Please be cautious when offering suggestions on how often to use an oil.
Q.D.: every day
B.I.D.: Twice a day
T.I.D. Three times a day
Q.I.D.: Four times a day
P.R.N. As needed
N.P.O. Nothing by mouth
Q12h: Every 12 hours
