Linda from AK, trying an oil 2 times to fix a problem, especially a major problem is not going to get you very far very often. Body's are complicated and he likely not only had tinnitus for a couple days.
Small amount regularly is the way to heal. For acute issues frequently.

I apply Immortal on my neck & sub occipital lobe. Morning & night what I remember. It's taken months between old symptom damage and its taken a week one time. But I can feel the temperature of water again, no left over pain from optic neuritis, I can feel the palm of my hands....the damage was not done in a day. I also take LLV. Honestly I never expected to work on the old MS damage but new it helped my neck feel a bit better some mornings after sleeping wrong.
Acute issue: example 1" gash 1/4"deep on forehead.
A few weeks ago the hatchback on the car I was driving split open my forehead in a small gash. It was blinding pain and once I removed my hand lots of blood. I had my daughter with me grab my helichrysum & Frankincense. Went back into the clinic I just taught in & applied he oils & cleaned up. I reapplied them about every 15 min. Though not while I was driving- this happened when the roads in Anchorage were still terribly icy. I reapplied every time it hurt enough to grab my attention. Each time the helichrysum would take the pain down. It never bruised & I was able to control the swelling. I also applied tea tree(melicluca- sp) around it for antiseptic properties and vetiver to help it close. I also took a pain pill of oils twice a day at onset the 1x day for a few days to stave of the pounding headache. I continued in following days applying morning & night as I was busy teaching classes. In 5 days the scab fell off with a light scar that looks old.
Moral of the story: longer its been there normally the longer it takes to heal. Acute issues attack with small amounts with frequency.
