Something else I wanted to point out is that last year at the convention Emily Wright talked about how doTERRA is working with the different growers grow the local industry in their villages and cities by showing other growers how to implement best pratices and thus build up economies around the world. I feel like fair trade is important, but this is far more imporant and shows how doTERRA has such a high level of integrity by helping to build up economies while ensuring a dependable source of high quality crops. That's my additional two cents.

The only remaining concern is whether the people at the real bottom of the pyramid structure, namely those involved in the labour to farm the herbs and produce the oils, are being paid fairly according to 'Fairtrade' norms. I'm not sure if the Fairtrade organisation exists in the USA but it's the one in the UK known for guaranteeing that Third World producers get a fair deal. Otherwise, wherever the oils are produced, it is good to know that the people involved in the physical labour at the bottom are getting a living wage and fair working conditions, have the right to join trade unions or worker's cooperatives, they can afford to send their children to school and the like. That information, just like information that the products are not tested on animals, would help to promote your oils, I believe, as British people are possibly more concerned about the health and rights of animals (especially lab animals) than their own health! :-)
