Re: [Everything doTERRA] Baby breaks out in a rash a day after using OnGuard on feet and Breathe on chest

Eva I do believe you are being a wee bit over the top, every body would agree with caution when using on a Younger person, but a simple skin test will assist , if not sure then diluted at first

Do not believe that Eucalyptus nor Wintergreen when used responsibility are Lethal , I have used these for years , it is an line that the more conservative people in Aromatherapy push, but those of us the follow the French Principals of Aromatherapy know that they are safe.

So you would rather use an Chemical based cream, rather than Pure therapeutic Essential Oils- I find that Interesting

People research,Test and use doTerra Oils with confidence , I have been using Essentials Oils now for over 15 years , hold an Certificate IV in Natural therapy  in Australia)

First I would question WHY they are using the oils on the child to begin with.  On Guard is a HOT oil and should be diluted with a carrier oil if being applied to the skin. Especially a baby's skin,  Their skin is SO much more sensitive.

AND WHY ARE THEY USING BREATHE ON A BABY????  Do not ever use eucalyptus or wintergreen on any child under 2 years of age. They can be LETHAL.

It is SO sad to see stuff like this happen when it could have easily been avoided by knowing your own products and warning parents.  PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE GIVING OILS AWAY!!!!!  A quick GOOGLE search could have prevented this.  (essential oils safe for babies)

I'm glad a rash was the only thing that happened as it could have been much worse.  Please discontinue use of the oils on the baby and treat the rash with some cream.
