Inline with the food allergies suggestion - you may want to try Non-GMO organic of the suggested food intolerances below too. There definitely is some weird science going on that is impacting so many people and especially children.
My little one is dealing with the ear infections and stuffy nose too. She is a bit older and just trying to keep the nose free flowing. One thing I do with her is to use a nasal spray bottle (available through AromaTools), fill it with distilled water and up to 10 drops* of melaleuca. Anyway she bends over and shoots a spray in her nose. Since she is bent over it goes up into the sinus cavity with the help of gravity.
We also do the allergy shot - 2-4 drops each of lavender, lemon and peppermint. On her toes or we try a shot glass with 1-2 drops each and a bit of water. She likes to chase it down with OJ. (My kids will be ready for the bar scene early. :( Well, maybe they will only do the healthy options. :))
*10 drops is ALOT so start with perhaps 3-4 drops to start for a younger child. It is easier to add if needed.
(Some people recommend using a cotton swab with a drop of melaleuca up the nostrils).

I took her in for eczema and finally found out that she had all these symptoms because of an intolerance to cow dairy, wheat, corn & soy. I switched to goat dairy and limited grains to spelt & rice. She hasn't had the sinus issues since unless i cheat & eat those things.
