I have had strep 3 times in 5 weeks. My son (3yr/old) has not gotten it once, even while in close proximity during contagious times. I was just told of an experience in which 1 person in the family was a carrier and never contracted strep while her whole family did. If my son is a carrier, how can I help evacuate the virus without antibiotics? I understand that if I allow the doctor to treat him with antibiotics, he may experience frequent attacks of strep himself afterward. Thank you for your advice!
