[Everything doTERRA] ruptured ear drum

Below is from a concerned mom/IPC whose 9 yo daughter had a ruptured
ear drum 10 days ago.. (Daughter was put on antibiotics but mom kept
feeling that pm they should get a 2nd opinion. She doesn't know if
that was inspiration or anxiety. Took her to another pediatrician and
they changed the antibiotic to a diff one--giving antibiotic ear
drops. THEN she called the ENT who did her surgery -- tubes put in
some time ago-- and he also said ear drops were fine. She's done with
the ear drops. FYI Personally I know the melaleuca didn't "cause"
anything but mom's concerned.) Just wondering if there are any
thoughts from this group of what could aid healing, etc:

She just has strange things going on with her hearing which I'm sure
is from the healing process.

I have not used oils on her since it ruptured. I actually had
melalueca on a cottonball on her ear and around the outside at the
time it ruptured. It made me wonder if the oil made it worse since
she's had many ear infections but they never ruptured before. The
infection progressed very rapidly and even though she was on tylenol/
ibuprofen she was in a lot of pain. I felt really bad.

I've started giving her green smoothies and vitamins to encourage
healing.
