[Everything doTERRA] Re: melissa as a preventative measure???

We had a recent experience with this over the holidays - 16 people in our home and 2 got both the bad bugs going around at the same time - stomach flu symptoms along with bronchitis/URI symptoms.  At the first sign of this, we began using Melissa on the 8 children (and we took it internally with the other bomb oils) and none of us got any of the symptoms the 2 adults had.  We used 2 drops each - one for each foot - on each child morning and night. Melissa appears to me to be a stronger antiviral than anything else we have tried. Not hot on the kids feet (like oregano) and they loved the smell and lined up for oils enthusiastically.

So, kids are dropping like flies at my kids school!  Between the stomach flu and the regular flu, it seems like everyone is getting sick!  So my question is, besides the LLV and the Onguard use on a dail basis, could you also use a drop of Melissa every day?  Would this prevent you from getting sick?  I know it is an expensive oil but I REALLY don't want my kiddos catching on of these nasty bugs!  If the Melissa would work as a preventer, how would you use it?

Thanks!
