[Everything doTERRA] Re: flu and detox

Hi Susieq,
I just fought off the flu last week.  The first day I had symptoms, I took a capsule every 3 hours or so.  I drank a ton of water, and had used a few drops of lemon and 1 drop of onguard in my water all day.  My capsules were about 3-4 drops of oregano + 2 myrrh, 2 frank, 2 onguard.  {There is no perfect or "right" combination of oils to use in a flu bomb, but if you have oregano, definitely use that in it.  If you don't have oregano, melaleuca, basil or thyme are good to use in place if it.}  I think fewer drops more often is the key to success the first day or two of illness.  You know, I never could get my body aches to go away on the first day, so I did end up taking one ibuprofin at bedtime so I could get good rest.  I felt much better the next day, and dropped the capsules back to every 4-5 hours.  Then took 3 caps for the following 3 days.  (5 days of dosing total for me)  Don't quit early.  Take capsules at least 3 days beyond the point where you feel better.  Good luck and I hope you are able to fight it off!!

Last night I started getting a sore throat.  So I looked on everythingessentialme.com and it said 8 drops oregano, 5 drops onguard and 3 drops frankie.  I took one last night.  I also used a spoonful of honey and a couple drops melaluca for the sore throat.  I woke up this morning feeling horrible, aching all over.  I did some searching here and everything  I found said 5 drops oregano.  I'm wondering if the aching could be from a detox from all the oregano.  Is that possible?  Please give me some advice.  I need to get feeling better and get to work on Tuesday.
