Hello :0)
So long as a person is not allergic to Lavender, it is one of the most effective things to use for ANY inflammatory issue. If your lavender is synthetic at any level, it may actually cause more irritation. I ofcourse only recommend doTerra CERTIFIED PURE Essential Oils, and it may be necessary to dilute the oil. Another thing to consider: What kind of wax are you using and how skilled is the person doing your waxing?
There a hundreds of different types of wax. Some are low heat formulas and may have ingredients that are calming, some are formulated for sensitive skin, others may even be a cold wax. Finding the wax that works best for your skin is part of the journey. With this said, the wax can be great, but keep in mind that there is a skill level required for proper waxing. Heat and the stress on the skin (when the wax strips are pulled off) play the largest role in how the skin is going to react.
If you create heat/inflammation in the skin, it is like an open invitation to a breakout.
Another thing I recommend is COLD Lavender Compresses immediately after waxing...cool the skin down as quickly as possible and you'll probably avoid most of the inflammatory response. If you are allergic to lavender, just try cold compresses.
I hope this was helpful.

This question is about someone with sensitive skin who breaks out from facial waxing (and has tried many pre and post creams and potions). Does anyone have advice/suggestions on what can be put on topically, before or after waxing, to help with pimples and raised skin bumps?--
