[Everything doTERRA] Re: 8 month old with repeated ear infections

The oils are awesome for helping LOs combat the ear aches, but honestly - a chiropractic adjustment will remove the likely subluxation that is probably causing swelling of the muscles (inflammation) around the Eustachian tube.  This will impede proper drainage, leading to frequent earaches.  Find a chiropractic physician (aka: DC) that treats children and infants and get this child adjusted regularly.

Hope that helps!

My 8 mo old girl has had 4 ear infections(or maybe just the same one that's just sticking around) since December. She always seems to have a snotty nose and her cough finally went away after hanging around for 2 months. Last month we took her to the Dr. because she started having drainage and sent us home with antibiotics which seemed to help, but now it's back again.  We've tried just about everything we can think of... Basil, Lavender, Melaleuca, I've been resting her head on a warm rice bag before naps. Not really sure what to do now.  I don't want to put her on more antibiotics, but I just want her to get better and be able to sleep through the night.  Any suggestions are welcome...this mamma needs some sleep!  TIA
