[Everything doTERRA] College girl with flu...

My son has the same symptoms and we have tried many oils on him. I think it just needs to run its course. Don't stop using them because they do help destroy the bug, just not as quickly as we would hope for. One thing we have done is a drop of frankincense and a drop of myrrh under his tongue hourly for a whole day. His cough went from continuous to almost gone. At night we do wet sock treatments- soak your feet in hot water for 20 mins, then place a pair of cotton socks that have been soaked with cold ice water (wring them out first) on your warm dry feet, and then place a pair of dry warm wool socks over that. Go to bed. You can add a drop of rosemary to the bottoms of your feet, or make a crushed garlic/coconut oil paste and put that on the bottoms before the cold wet socks. It sounds crazy but google it. It'll tell you why it works- and it does! The first night he was havin coughing fits for 2 hours and couldn't sleep(this was before we did myrrh/frank). My mom suggested the wet socks. I went in and did them on his feet. Within 2 minutes his cough was completely stopped and he was sound asleep. And we didn't have to use peppermint for his fever all night. I hope this helps!
