The definition of ADVOCATE is here 

a person who argues for or supports a cause or policy

: a person who works for a cause or group

There should be no discomfort with this name change as there is no training or certification needed.  If someone enrolls with doTERRA there are called wellness advocates because they support the cause of doTERRA which is a wellness lifestyle with an emphasis on education.
