The nebulizer is to help get medicine into the lungs. My brother got off his nebulizer by applying Breathe on front of his nose throughout the day. I would not put Frankincense in the nebulizer but I would suggest putting it under her tongue (3 drops) every day. The difference with the diffuser is it ionizes the water (with the oil) and puts it into the air. So aromatically it helps a lot, you could put Frankincense and Balance in the water and at would help Mom.
