can you tell me why? my friend take llv
They did give me tons of energy and obviously work, but the crash as they wore off was pretty serious. There must be some kind of natural stimulant in them. Maybe not, cause I was able to sleep after taking them. Maybe I am just tired. Anyway, I like them.

Have any of you had issues with using a tampon? I am concerned with toxic
shock syndrome as a close friend actually died from it related to tampon
use. Do you just put the oil on it only?

    Thanks

Great topic! I'm helping a friend make an e-cigarette and appreciate the
feedback to help him stop smoking. What recipe do you have to create the
"vapor" effect and also using the oils?

    Thank you!

My nurse practitioner has instructed me not to take any essential oils that
contain grapefruit because of the interaction with my medications,
especially coumadin. I can use any topically but be careful regarding the
internal usage. My doterra representative has stated that the grapefruit
comes from the rind and I should not have any issues. Anyone else having to
watch the essential oils because of medication reactions?

Lavender! I was stung by a bee four times on my abdomen and put lavender
on the sting marks. The stinging went away in about 30 seconds, and the
redness was gone within an hour.

When you have a company (still considered new) and they are so successful
that they are literally blowing it out of the water. Then you get others
who try to pull it down. It would be a full time job for a whole department
to attempt to control the conflict. So we go about the business of
essential oils and do not take the time and effort to respond to every
little rumor that crops up. We have an amazing legal team that jumps and
takes care of the most serious offense (such as the peppermint) and if
doTerra is hit with a lawsuit they simple go to work taking care of it with
all of the evidence that they have continued to collect over that past 5+
years. We are informed of the lawsuits and doTerra attempts to keep us in
    the loop regarding legal standings.

There is always going to be someone who will take pot shots at us. We
simply go about the business of health and wellness, in changing peoples
lives and not get caught up in the thick of thin things.

I think someone posted about the lawsuit on this forum. I remember reading it here. I'll see if I can find the thread.

    Liz Peterson <lizypeterson@gmail.com> Sep 26 09:00AM -0700

Note that the email sent by doTERRA about the lawsuit was apparently sent
to silvers and above. That said, here are my comments posted in a doTERRA
FB group, that explain a bit about what's going on, and I've also attached
    all three legal documents:

Here's my take on the situation: Because of the information that accused
doTERRA's peppermint oil of being inferior, etc. doTERRA corporate must
have investigated further into how it all transpired. Based on their
findings, Thrive Holdings, LLC (aka doTERRA), filed suit against Young
Living, et al, on June 18, 2013. In the 30-page Complaint (which I have
attached) are a series of statements, presented as facts, to identify what
happened in the process of the false claims by Young Living, et al. The
Complaint explains the process by which Richard Carlson, a YL employee, had
an independent chemist (ALS) test multiple samples of peppermint given to
ALS by Carlson. Without getting all "legalese" on everyone, suffice it to
say that doTERRA has done it's due diligence and attached documentation to
the Complaint to justify doTERRA's claims against YL of "false and
deceptive statements." (p. 18). doTERRA sets forth 5 causes of action
(specific claims based in law) with details, and then asks for: 1) "a
temporary restraining order, injunction and permanent injunction,
restraining and enjoining Defendants, including Young Living and its
officers, directors, employees....from making false, misleading,
disparaging and defamatory comments about doTERRA to third parties..." 2)
"an order requiring the removal of the peppermint report and any other
statements relating to the peppermint report or any other defamatory, false
and/or unsupported statements relating to doTERRA from the Certified
Synthetic Website." (Note that YL is alleged to have created the CSW
website through which to publish their false information about doTERRA's
peppermint). 3) "for an award of damages...in an amount to be determined at
trial..." Now, that's just the first "prayer for relief" based on the first
cause of action, and remember there are 5. So in each case doTERRA is
asking for both temporary and permanent restraining orders against YL and
monetary damages for the false statements made by YL about doTERRA
    peppermint oil.

The YL response was undoubtedly expected by those who understand the legal
process, including the attorneys for doTERRA corporate. In a countersuit
filed by YL on June 19, 2013 (I attached a copy of this, too), essentially
alleging that doTERRA's claim that the oils are "100 pure" "CPTG", etc. is
bogus and unfounded (but uses lots more words than that--23 pages worth).
YL claims of "false advertising" are based, in part, on it's report about
doTERRA peppermint being poor quality, etc., and asks that the doTERRA
trademarks related to "CPTG" be declared invalid. So this is the suit that
Lisa was asking about, and it is in direct response to the suit filed by
doTERRA against YL for the peppermint situation.

Additionally...YL filed an amended complaint on 7/18/13, simply amending
their original complaint filed in June. Comparing the two documents YL has
expanded their claims to include many more oils/products that the 3
mentioned in the original complaint (peppermint, lavender, frankincense).
The rest of the document is basically the same (and is also attached).

doTERRA is not going to "react" to this, rather they will respond
appropriately in a court of law. Meanwhile, we need to trust the company we
have joined, we love these oils, many of us have experienced amazing
benefits from these oils, and just because YL files a lawsuit does not
automatically mean that there is anything wrong. In fact, this isn't the
first time YL filed suit against doTERRA. YL went through a list of
attorneys the first time they sued doTERRA. The attorneys didn't want to
take the case because they knew there was no basis. YL finally found one
willing to participate but the suit was dismissed (meaning the court found
no merit in YL's claims against doTERRA). David Stirling's response to that
situation is posted on the EverythingEssential.me site:
    http://www.everythingessential.me/Hints/Dave%20Stirling.html

She needs LLV as well as DDR Prime and Frankincense under tongue in
capsules and at base of skull *just covering all the bases. As well as
Lemon in her water all day long. Also 1 capsule of Lemongrass to get rid of
inflammation. When possible she should get 3-4 Aroma Touch Techniques per
week. These are my mainstays with my cancer, I also still do Chemo and
    blood thinners.

I've done the Zendocrine and GX Assist protocol twice now (last time was
about 6 months ago), and take a probiotic daily. After the first round of
Zendo/Gx, I got a rash between my 2 little toes. After the second round,
the rash started to spread to the next set of toes, and continued to spread
(over time) all the way to the big toe. Now, it's popping up on the bottom
of my foot and I can feel it's going to start on the top of my foot. The
redness is still between all of my toes (and the bottom of my foot is
peeling), even though it doesn't itch or sting. Can this still be a detox
reaction even though it's been almost 6 months? I am a fairly clean eater
and drink water with lemon EO daily. I was afraid to do another round of GX
as I didn't want this rash to keep spreading. Any insight or thoughts?

I have used DDR prime for tooth pain with great success.

    > I found out today that my jaw could be inflamed (words from my
chiropractor) from getting a cavity filled about a month ago. It has hurt
off and on since then but I haven't really thought anything about it until
last week. I was told today not to chew on the side of the jaw for a few
days since it is still pretty tender at times. Could I put lemon essential
oil on the tooth gums or by the jaw joints and muscles? Thanks in advance.

I know this is supposedly a simple question but I'm going to be hosting my
first class on reinventing healthcare in the home and I have just been
thinking about the difference between using oregano and an antibiotic.
Because don't they both clean out all your flora. What is the difference?
How is oregano better than an antibiotic?

    Patricia Leavitt <doterradiscover@gmail.com> Sep 26 05:17AM -0600

When you use an anti biotic you are using a synthetic property which causes
a build up of yeast and then causes further problems. When you use the
oregano it kills the bacteria and does not build the yeast, rather it kills
    off the yeast.
So the choice here is: Natural? Synthetic?

Have a great class and be passionate about natural wellness.

Have any of you ever heard of anyone having a reaction to melaleuca?
I am now certain I am reacting to it! I have had several instances where I applied Melaleuca topically (both neat & with FCO) with one other oil and then experienced severe swelling &/or rash. The other night I applied Melaleuca & Lavender (neat) to a blemish on my temple area before I went to bed. I woke up with a large, red raised swollen area on my entire temple. The swelling increased and it became itchy & painful as the day passed. It's still swollen & sore this am & the swelling is now affecting my eye area. I tried using ice packs last night, but it really did not help with the swelling. I also used lemon in my water all day. My upline advised I report this reaction to product support. ( I do have very sensitive skin & I am allergic to Triple Antibiotic -neosporin- Ointment.)
    I welcome any advice? Pat?
