I have been told my iron is extremely low then a couple days later been told its just fine. When I investigated this further, I found there is more than one test for iron and they mean different things but when you say "iron levels" one doctor will think one test while another will think the other. I suggest she goes to her doctor and have them run the test and make sure they are the same test and get an explanation.
