[Everything doTERRA] Re: titanium possible allergy

Hi Brenda,

I sent you an answer on http://analisesdomjoker.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/everything-doterra-titanium-possible.html but Im not sure how these forums work, so I will write something here as well.

Make sure your friend avoids further exposure to titanium. It is used in pills, creams, food and other things as a white coloring agent. You will find it on declaration of contents as the name E171.

However titanium implants do not contain only titanium, but the alloy which is used for the implant is always comprised of other metals as well. Usually Vanadium, Nickel, Aluminum, sometimes Niobium but sometimes even other metals as well. Request the contents of the implant from your surgeon.

The constant exposure to one of these metals might be causing an autoimmune reaction in your friends body. This is what is called a type IV allergy. It can be diagnosed with the clinically proven test MELISA.

Most important is to educate yourself. We have a lot of information available on our foundation website www.melisa.org, including medical studies, published papers and general information on titanium and metal allergies. http://www.melisa.org/titanium-allergy.php

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, we have many years of experience and research into heavy metal alergies.

Good luck,

Peter Valenta
