I guess I just want some confirmation . . . a few weeks ago a friend
who has health concerns (some of which weren't even known at the
time)--bleeding for 8 months, overweight, etc,-- finally went to a dr
at the urging of a relative. Healthcare has been out of her reach for
many, many years.
She got in to see a dr who put her on hormone meds to stop the
bleeding. Also discovered diabetes & a tumor in her uterus. The dr
put her on some diabetes meds which made her sick & also dr wants to
do a hysterectomy. About this time she started to eat healthier,
tried to walk more, etc.
Once she tried the diabetes meds & got sick both times, she asked me
about the oils. She had a zyto scan which mentioned cloves, Solace,
lemon. She started her regime w/these oils & about a week or week and
a half into the EOs the dr called to change her appt. She mentioned
to the dr that she was really struggling to even walk around the house
(they were trying to figure things out totally--even thinking she
might be anemic, etc). The dr suspected blood clots so they
immediately went to the emergency room. Come to find out she did have
blood clots which were caused from the dr having her DOUBLE the
hormone dose for the bleeding!
Ok, fast forward a bit---she's home from the hospital now. They have
her on Warfarin or Coumadin (sp?) as blood thinner & a diabetes med
(she couldn't remember which one). Once she got back home, it was her
idea to get back to her EOs--- few drops of lemon several times / day
in her water, a swipe of Solace on her tummy (can't remember if it's
once or twice/day) & clove on her feet. (BTW, I thought it was WAY
cool that her scan showed clove & clove is good for BLOOD CLOTS!)
Ok, so my question is . . . I know Pat (& maybe others) has said that
the oils will not interfere w/meds. Just want some confirmation that
this is correct. I want to make sure my friend is safe. It's not the
OILS I distrust. Of course it's the MEDS! :0)
