Thank you for the tip on applying oils after the shower. Some are good right after (like the anti-cellulite blend which is supposed to be used after the shower) and I suppose others not so much. =)
I had a feeling it was the Cassia but wanted to make sure it was just the Cassia and not perhaps a combination of the three that caused such a reaction, like if the three aren't "compatible." All I know is it wasn't pleasant and I was not a happy camper this morning. =)

You are sensitive to Cassia, so just don't use it for a while. Putting oils on after a shower can be hard on some people. The pores are open (from the hot water) and easily absorbed into the skin. I am glad you are using a carrier oil when you apply.Pat--On Tue, Jul 14, 2015 at 6:19 AM, Joy Cimino <jaegergirl@gmail.com> wrote:I tried Cassia this morning for the first time and had a reaction to the oil and wonder if anyone has had a similar reaction.--
I am a runner so every morning after my shower, I rub Lemongrass and Marjoram mixed with coconut oil on my calves and ankles to help alleviate any pain and because I read lemongrass is a good oil for things like tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, etc. This morning, I decided to add cassia to the mix because it's supposed to help sooth sore muscles. Within 5 minutes, anywhere the oil touched turned beat red and one spot on my leg almost looked like it was starting to welt. Even places I didn't even know the oil touched turned into red blotches. Needless to say, I waited about 15 minutes to see if it would go away and it didn't so I got back in the shower and washed it all off. That was about 30 minutes ago and the redness is almost completely gone. Has anyone else had a similar reaction to Cassia? I know it's a hot oil but I've used other hot oils before without that type of reaction. I can attach pictures if anyone cares or needs to see what the reaction looked like.
Thanks in advance.
