Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: severe vaginal dryness, painful sex

I know this post started out as "vaginal dryness" BUT the part about diet & pain intrigued me.

For what it's worth:  Last Jan my husband wanted to lose weight & try the Whole30 diet (I'd never heard of it.) --basically meat & fresh produce (more veg than fruit), but no dairy, grains (not even whole) or legumes.

To set the stage, we started out w/doTERRA's cleanse, then began the Whole30.

My husband has had arthritis for close to 20 years. About day 26 or 27 into the diet, he came down to breakfast saying:  it just dawned on me that the majority of my pain is gone.  I love, love, love the oils ---esp w/healthy eating!

That is awesome, Linda! I didn't stay with the vegan diet after the 6 weeks (very difficult to maintain with a hubby and 4 children who didn't like any of the vegan dishes except for the steamed veggies!) However, I am getting some of my joint pain back which I know is inflammation, so I will try out your recommendations which seem more acceptable on a long-term basis for my family of 6. I do make bone broth, but I currently leave the skin in as well during the boiling process. Since you remove the skin before eating chicken, do you leave it out of the bone broth as well? I get our eggs, chicken, beef, and raw milk from a local organic farm. Is raw milk still inflammatory? I think dairy is my most difficult food to remove. I love ice cream!

I was reading the post here about the vegan diet that included no sugar, dairy, packaged foods and so on. In 2006 I went on a anti inflammatory diet that my naturopath put me on. It was also gluten and sugar free (small amount of raw organic honey is fine), dairy free (eggs were fine and encouraged), beef free (bison encouraged). It also included cold water wild caught deep sea fish, Organic chicken without the skin (due to the type of amegas), nuts and seeds (I used a coffee grinder to grind seeds that I eat the day they were ground). I lost all my pain in a matter of days. I avoided a shoulder surgery, and I lost 34 pounds without trying in a matter of weeks. Before this anti inflammatory diet I ate better than most. I am in my 60's without pain and inflammation! Now I eat local pastured chicken eggs, turkey and grass fed lamb, vegetables, herbs and spices. I make and eat bone broth. I am cain sugar free, milk and gluten free.

Is there something I can use to help relieve my problem with vaginal dryness.  I am in my 60's and have had a hysterectomy and have been using premarin vaginal cream. I know this puts me at a higher risk for breast cancer and so I want to quit using the cream but I need something to help with vaginal dryness.  Can anyone give me a suggestion on how to help my problem?
