For anyone posting on this topic recently, I wanted to share a healthy, natural (non-EO) solution that worked for me. (Although you could easily incorporate EOs with these foods for added benefit!) I'm in my 40s and started suffering from hot flashes, joint pain, and vaginal dryness. I was NOT looking for a solution for any of these things at the time, but was looking to try to lose a few pounds. I read Dr Joel Fuhrman's books, Eat to Live and Eat for Health. I completed his 6-week vegan diet and my knee pain went away in less than a week, my nightly hot flashes stopped within 2 days, and I had MORE than enough natural lubrication within a week as well. I also lost 15 pounds. Yay! This is a very strict diet, but will have many healthy side benefits as well. He is reversing heart disease & diabetes every day by teaching people to eat a plant-based diet. Nothing to buy except organic veggies and fruits, beans, mushrooms, nuts, & seeds. No meat or dairy, no added sugar or salt, no processed foods. Just "eat the rainbow" in fruits and veggies, beans, mushrooms, nuts, and seeds, but focus on leafy greens. Massive salads at least once a day. There is no limit to how much you can eat since these foods fill you up with less calories. No store bought salad dressings though. If you search online, there are Eat to Live and Eat for Health recipes out there. "G-bombs" is his acronym that he speaks about (greens, beans, onions, mushrooms, berries, seeds). These are the main foods that should be eaten daily for optimum health. My taste buds changed, I lost my "sweet tooth", my energy increased, and all my "ailments" disappeared. Try it and you won't be disappointed!

Is there something I can use to help relieve my problem with vaginal dryness. I am in my 60's and have had a hysterectomy and have been using premarin vaginal cream. I know this puts me at a higher risk for breast cancer and so I want to quit using the cream but I need something to help with vaginal dryness. Can anyone give me a suggestion on how to help my problem?
