[Everything doTERRA] Re: Skin reaction to Cassia?

Cassia is another toothpick oil, that means use less than a drop and dilute well (more than usual).

I tried Cassia this morning for the first time and had a reaction to the oil and wonder if anyone has had a similar reaction.

I am a runner so every morning after my shower, I rub Lemongrass and Marjoram mixed with coconut oil on my calves and ankles to help alleviate any pain and because I read lemongrass is a good oil for things like tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, etc. This morning, I decided to add cassia to the mix because it's supposed to help sooth sore muscles. Within 5 minutes, anywhere the oil touched turned beat red and one spot on my leg almost looked like it was starting to welt. Even places I didn't even know the oil touched turned into red blotches. Needless to say, I waited about 15 minutes to see if it would go away and it didn't so I got back in the shower and washed it all off. That was about 30 minutes ago and the redness is almost completely gone. Has anyone else had a similar reaction to Cassia? I know it's a hot oil but I've used other hot oils before without that type of reaction. I can attach pictures if anyone cares or needs to see what the reaction looked like.

Thanks in advance.
