There is no set standard except "more is not better". The oils are very powerful and 1-2 drops at a time is sufficient for topical application. If you are looking to maintain and support good health and feel you are coming down with something. Then filling a gel cap with appropriate oils you will use multiple drops of 3-4 oils. You would use various amounts of drops depending on age, condition and size of the person using the oils. So really it is up to the individual as to the amount and variety of oils.
