Viviana, you may want to try diffusing White Fir which is wonderful at addressing pain (especially applied topically when layered with Wintergreen) and the scent is wonderful! The scent is especially appealing to men, it leans a bit towards woodsy but not at all over-powering. White Fir is my favorite oil to diffuse and my all-time favorite combo is White Fir with On Guard (2-3 drops of each), the fragrance is amazing! One time I paired the White Fir with Serenity Blend and when my 6-year-old grandson smelled it he looked up at me with a smile and rubbed his tummy and said, "Mmmm."

It really comes down to what your husband would find pleasant. It's amazing how a pleasing fragrance can relieve stress, especially if lying down with eyes shut and focusing on how pleasing the scent is. If he finds an oil that works that way for him, he may even begin to respond, at a subconcious level, by releasing stress when that fragrance hits his olfactory sensor. Fragrance memories can be powerful.
Sure hope that you find something that works for him, headaches can affect every aspect of your life.

Thanks, Dee. I actually heard someone talking about diffusing oils to prevent headaches, but didn't know which ones. He loves having Serenity on at night, maybe I'll convince him to try the Frankincense instead. What other oils do you think might work well to diffuse for prevention?
