You should avoid those things as far as using them in your food or coming in contact with them on your skin. However, as for the oils they remove the proteins (which are the allergins) so with those I'd try a patch test on your skin with FCO and see if you see any reaction. It is really unlikely that you will but if you do then avoid those oils.
As for the vitamins I don't know if the proteins are removed if it isn't added in an EO source (Pat might know). I do know what my allergy doc told me was that to keep in mind that when they test you for an allergy they are going to use the most common, easily available source to test. So if you are allergic to basil it would be the most common variety, species, etc. plus I doubt they put a lot of care into making sure there are no pesticides etc. So what he said was you can test positive and still be fine with some varieties and you can test negative and still be allergic. Two examples in my life, I'm allergic to raw tomatoes, my throat feels like it is starting to close so I avoid them all like the plague but occasionally one will slip by. Sometimes I have a reaction and sometimes I don't. I always react to the regular ones at the grocery store but on the rare occasion I haven't had a reaction. Pet allergies are notorious that way as well. I'm allergic to all cats but only some dogs. We have two dogs and I'm fine but get me around a golden retriever and I'm a mess.
