My favorite is Quick Books but Quicken will work as well and is much
less expensive. I had my own retail business for years and used Quick
Books and I really liked it (still use it). That said though unless you
are using the financial reports I'm not sure that it is necessary to
have that level until you hit some significant volume. Excel also comes
in handy. [Remember if you don't have Excel and you want it, if you have
children in school you can usually buy the student version at a
significant discount. QB doesn't have that program.]
