If I remember correctly there are 3 types of estrogen...1) natural our body makes 2) xenoestrogen that is fake & in EVERYTHING in our environment from room deodorizers to dryer sheets, deodorant & the air we breath as well as HRT unless it is the natural form. Xenoestrogens are 1000x (someone correct me if this % is wrong) more powerful than our own natural estrogen & wreck havoc w/in our bodies & this is what causes "estrogen dominance" & leads to breast cancer etc. 3) Phytoestrogen which is plant based & 100x less powerful than our natural estrogen but it gets rid of the xenoestrogens which is what we want. We are exposed to the xenoestrogens daily no matter how clean we eat or how green our home environment is...unless we live a bubble our bodies are exposed to these just because we walk outside& breathe;) The Phytoestrogen gets in our cells receptor sites & blocks the xenoestrogen from taking over...in my opinion everyone should be taking Phytoestrogen.
