It sounds like your body is trying to tell you something. :) I would suggest switching to a natural form of birth control: Keeping track of your own fertility. I've been doing it for almost a year and it's FANTASTIC to be in control without any use of hormones or anything else whatsoever (except for maybe a condom if I'm ovulating and we just can't resist each other). Not only that, but I know more about my body than I ever thought I could. It's very empowering to know so much about what is going on in my own body.
I know this probably isn't what you want to hear, because in the beginning it is a bit of work to learn your signs. But it doesn't take too long to get used to it, and the benefits far outweigh the work involved (I'm very lazy by nature, so believe me, it would HAVE to be easy in order for me to last more than a couple weeks!). I highly recommend the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". You can also check out the website www.tcoyf.com.
The book is pretty hefty, but you don't really need to read the whole thing. For instance, it has a whole section on sexually transmitted diseases. Since my husband and I have only ever been with each other, I just skipped that whole chapter. Then there's another chapter on menopause, one on fertility treatments and such for couples who have had difficulty conceiving, and etc. Just telling you that so when you see how big the book is, you don't get discouraged.
Good luck!
