If it were me, for diabetes, for sure no sugars. No honey or molasses
either. No cane juice crystals and no white flours.
I would make sure to have protein at every meal and veggies. I would
limit fruits as well, especially the higher sugar ones (banana,
pineapple, papaya, mango, etc.)
I would eat fats to balance out the blood sugar w/ every meal. I have
heard that stevia is good for lowering blood sugar but make sure you
get pure extract and not one w/ fillers. NuNaturals is a wonderful
brand. I have loads of no sugar recipes if you need them. Feel free
