My kids and I just visited family in Texas. Their bugs must be bigger there because my nephew would get HUGE welts on his body from a little pesky mosquito. He would sit and itch that bite until he would bleed. I pulled out my lavender and with-in seconds he was not itching. I am slowly turning my sister (who is a HUGE skeptic) into a beliver of the oils.

Their are some people or mosquitoes or a combination of both that terrishield is not as effective with. For bites, try a layered combination of clove and franky or clove and lavender. just a touch on the bite. Give it 10 min or so and swelling will go down and it will be better or gone.

Terrashield didn't work for me (used almost half a bottle!) and now I am very itchy and full of mosquito bites (well over 100). I tried what i had in my purse (Lime, Lemon, Purify--not all at once but separatly) and it didn't help. I have not had a mosquito bite in many years but am traveling and these are very different mosquitoes apparently!
