I would apply neat and I would use Lavender and Melaleuca as a topical
treatment. I would also recommend Helichrysum but the cost could be prohibitive.

Hope this helps,

I have a diabetic friend who spent time in the hospital last week due
to cellulitis on her legs.  She had numerous small open sores and a
fever.  The doctor indicated this is more than just diabetic sores.
They treated her with an antibiotic, a topical cream, and a spray that
numbs the itching.  The itching is her biggest complaint.  She is not
a member of DoTERRA yet but is interested when money permits.

I've searched this site and have seen the suggestions to treat the
cellulitis infection with oregano, melaleuca, lemon, thyme, rosemary,
fankincense, cypress, or GX assist.  A combination of oregano,
melaleuca and lemon seemed to be the most common.  However, what would
you do for the itching?  She has a bottle of lavendar she won at an
event.  Could that be applied neat or mixed w/FCO to help with the
pain and itch?

Thanks so much for your input.
