[Everything doTERRA] Re: diabetes question

Did he add FCO or some other carrier oil to the capsules? I'd recommend adding a minimum of 1-2 drops of carrier oil when putting any EO in capsules and for the hot oils like cinnamon I'd do equal quantities of carrier and EO, just to protect the stomach.

To help his stomach right now, suggest to him that he eliminate all wheat (it's in almost all packaged/processed foods) from his diet for a couple weeks. He should see an improvement rather quickly. I think that I'd also suggest layering 1-2 drops of Balance and Serenity directly on stomach 2-3 times each day. Did you know that Balance will address heartburn? To my thinking that makes it a good candidate for soothing his stomach.

I have a gentleman who ordered coriander, cinnamon, and grapefruit to start on it for his diabetes.  Also, slim and sassy capsules.  He was putting the coriander cinnamon and grapefruit in a swish of water, and the capsules as well.  Well, he has been attempting to use the oils for about 2 weeks.  He said he got off of the cinnamon first, because his stomach was torn up bad.  he had some slim and sassy oil as well as the capsules and he tried both to see what would help also, he gained 1 pound a day and so over the 10 day period he gained 10 pounds.  He quit taking the oils swishing and swallowing and started rubbing them on the bottom of his feet, he said his stomach was still torn up.  He has now been off of them for about a week and he says he thinks they messed his stomach up.  Even though he isn't using them, his stomach is still really a mess.  He was thinking the oils have messed up his stomach, does anyone have any ideas what to do and about if it would be the oils messing up his stomach even with topical use?  Has anyone heard of this.
