Without really understanding this disorder and why the brain goes to sleep, my first thought would be frankincense and peppermint. Frankincense passes the blood brain barrier and peppermint (diffused or topical) increases oxygen to the brain.  Id keep a bottle of that with me all day long.

The 2nd thought would be the LLv supplements and mitomax 2. Very good for energizing the brain. 
In tune may also be helpful.

My 17 year old daughter was diagnosed with narcolepsy three months ago. Fortunately, she doesn't experience catalepsy but does have excessive daytime sleepiness. Oral medications working well enough for the summer although she does have a diminished appetite.   After reviewing past posts, I'm a bit confused. I know that different oils work differently for different people.
What would be a good starting spot?
