All I can tell you is that LEMON is good for your kidneys. I had kidney stones, that have caused me to have my kidney removed. My kidney DR told me that lemon is good. I told her that I put lemon EO in my water daily and that made her happy. I also put 2 drops of fennel under my tongue every morning. That too, is suppose to be good for kidneys. I do take a DR prescribed supplement Potassium Citrate, that is suppose to curb the stone building process.

Citrus peels are one of the foods listed as high in oxalate and should there for be avoided for to avoid future kidney stones. My question is if Lemon oil is high in oxalate? I would think not but I wanted to see if anyone knew exactly where the oxalate is in a peel or tell me that essential oils cannot contain oxalate acids or something more definitive than it not being listed as a major component. Just not wanting to make calcium kidney stones worse.
