[Everything doTERRA] Interactions with medicines

Pat is correct in saying Meds don't interfere with essential oils BUT essential oils can interred with some meds. http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientmono-1174-aromatherapy.aspx?activeingredientid=1174&activeingredientname=aromatherapy

And the truth is there hasntvbeen enough research done to say whether the essential oils affect your medicines. I do know herbs can affect you prescription medications and I've had people tell me to not use birch or wintergreen if I'm using Asprin or am on blood thinners. As for taking some oils internally without the advice of a certified Aromatherapist or Holistic Dr. It's a bit like playing Russian Roulet. You never know which time is going to cause enough internal damage to hurt your kidneys or other important organs. E.O.'s affect each person in different ways so when one person tells you, "Oh it's fine, I've been putting Frankensense under my tongue forc20 years and I feel much better." That person has a different DNA than you do. I hope you see this before the mods delete it. Most boards don't allow anything truthful to be left up for very long. Read as much as you can and trust yourself. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
