Re: [Everything doTERRA] scoliosis from diaphragmatic hernia

I totally agree with rubbing the frankincense on the affected area.

A friend of mine has a 9 month old son who had a diaphragmatic hernia at birth.  It was repaired after he was born and he is healthy now.  However, she just found out he has scoliosis as a result of the surgery.  His doctor said that this is often happens to babies that have had this surgery, but they will not begin any type of treatment for the scoliosis until he is 6 years old.  She wants to pursue treatment soon while her baby is rapidly growing.  From the way she described the surgery, it sounds like his spine is being pulled in one direction because of scar tissue from the surgery site. My suggestion to her was to rub frankincense on the scar, as it would help to break up the scar tissue and nourish the tissues.  What other oils or body work could she do for her son to help reverse the scoliosis or at least minimize the problems associated with it?
