In this debate, I think it is very very important to talk to the customers about quality control. We trust Doterra and trust that in what comes from them directly is exactly what is on the bottle. A friend bought some oils off amazon and in receiving them noticed that the caps looked different than those she had gotten in the past and fit they funny. Upon opening the peppermint, she compared the new peppermint with her empty bottle. The new smelled different and was not near as strong. We all know the punch that doterra's peppermint should bring when you smell it and this didn't have that. She sent it back and got a refund. While they claimed it was not tampered with, she got that feeling that something wasn't right. She ordered from someone she didn't know and now knew why it was more important to sign up and order directly from Doterra. So keep that in mind when people ask you about amazon or eBay.
